Visibility (Scared to be Seen)

Visibility (Scared to be Seen)

Hi Everyone,

This week I came across Faith Mariah, a blogger and business coach.  Her free 3 session challenge this week was called “Scared to Seen – Visibility Challenge for Bloggers”.

I hope my notes and takeaways from this challenge might help you if you are struggling with not being sure if you want to be more visible while growing your blog and business.

This is a topic that has plagued me and part of what held me back from starting my online business.  Do I want to share my blog with friends, family, or coworkers?

Faith pointed out this is a MINDSET issue. If you have this issue, are you playing FULL OUT? How can you make a difference if you are holding back? You are giving up on growing your business as fast as you want to. Giving up on your dream, giving up on reaching as many people as you want to help and impact.  This can only happen if people can find you and get to know you.

What do you have control of?  Do you have control of what others think?  Someone will always judge everything you do no matter what it is.

Do you have control of CIRCUMSTANCES?   NO!

HOWEVER, You do have control over your own THOUGHTS , FEELINGS, and ACTIONS.  Your thoughts lead to your feelings, your feelings lead to actions.  Your Actions lead to your RESULTS.  YOU CREATE YOUR RESULTS.

Faith reminded the attendees to AUDIT YOUR THOUGHTS about being visible.

EVERYTHING ONLY MEANS WHAT YOU MAKE IT MEAN….. I’ve heard this before and actually have said it to other people.

“YOUR THOUGHTS ARE YOUR BIGGEST ASSET AS A BUSINESS OWNER” ~ Faith Mariah

If fear is holding you back, what meaning are you giving fear?  Faith said for her fear means she is on the right track.

“IF YOU FIND YOURSELF CONSTANTLY TRYING TO PROVE YOUR WORTH TO SOMEONE YOU HAVE ALREADY FORGOTTE YOUR VALUE.” ~ ANONYMOUS

Faith makes the point…..You decide your business is important and you are enough to make a difference to others.

Another Mindset Faith shared…… Share details about what you are teaching about. Assume no one knows anything about it. How has what you are teaching and sharing changed your life?  Share relatable stories about yourself and how what you are sharing about impacted your life.

I hope some of the above helps you as much as it helped me this week.
